Who we are
This website is run by Digiroom (company number NI686889), based in Bangor, Co. Down, Northern Ireland. Digiroom is the controller of the personal data described below. For anything to do with your data, email joe@digiroom.co.uk.
The contact form
When you send an enquiry through the contact form, we collect:
- your name
- your phone number
- your email address
- whatever you write in the project outline
The form also has an anti-spam question and a hidden spam-trap field. These are only used to block automated spam.
When you press send, the website emails your details to joe@digiroom.co.uk using the web server's own mail function. The form does not save your enquiry in a database on the website, and no third-party form service is used. We use your details only to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to deliver the work you ask for.
We rely on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, and on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract with you.
Phone, email and WhatsApp
If you call, email or message us on WhatsApp, we use the details you give us in the same way, to reply and to handle your work. Messages sent through WhatsApp are also covered by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
Cookies and Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics (measurement ID G-QNGMWXWZKB) to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are read most. Google Analytics only loads, and only sets its cookies (named _ga and _ga_…), if you click Accept in the cookie banner. If you click Reject, or make no choice, it is not loaded. Google Analytics is provided by Google, which may process the data outside the UK.
Your Accept or Reject choice is remembered in your browser's local storage (the key digiroom_cookie_consent) so that we don't ask you on every page. You can change your mind at any time using the link in the footer of every page.
Fonts
The site's typefaces (Inter and Bricolage Grotesque) are hosted on our own web server. Your browser does not connect to Google Fonts or any other font service to load them.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry, or for as long as we are working together.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR) you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete
- ask us to delete your data
- ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to us using it
- ask for your data in a portable format
- withdraw your consent to analytics cookies at any time
To use any of these rights, email joe@digiroom.co.uk.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
